Earlier this year, Swiss watchmaker Longines replica made significant waves in launching a titanium cased, blue fumé dial version of their popular Avigation Bigeye chronograph. The watch was notable at the time not only for its intriguing colorway, but more importantly as it represented the latest example of the brand revisiting one of its popular vintage-inspired designs with modern materials and colors. This week, it seems the watchmaker is continuing this trend for the year— at least in terms of colors— now introducing a new black dial replica Longines Heritage Classic “Sector” and updating the original 2019-launched design with a suave black dial.
At first glance, the cheap replica watches are functionally and aesthetically mostly the same as the original 2019 launch, the foremost difference being this edition’s all black dial compared to the previous colorway’s silver, white, and blue steel style. With that said, the black version nonetheless maintains much of the appeal as the original option, including with a well-sized 38.5mm by 11mm steel case with slim lugs and brushed finishing, and of course its signature multi-textured, sector dial. In some ways, a closer look at this edition reveals the style as not all too different from the Baltic HMS time-only models, the sector- style inspiration for both drawing from similar vintage source material, though obviously executed in two different price points.
Like the blue dial Avigation Bigeye before it, the new “Sector” Black seems to represents uk Longines fake latest effort to prolong and grow from the neo-vintage or “vintage-inspired” trend it has led over this past half decade or so, the black dial feeling like a more timeless, though nonetheless still historically-inclined effort at just that. Speaking more to this, on the dial itself, the war-era design of the watch clearly shines, with the unique numeral placement, sectored and contrasting textures, and indented sub-dial producing an understated, but obviously vintage-inspired aesthetic.
Inside the 30-m water resistant watch is the Longines caliber L893, itself based upon the ETA A31.501. The automatic movement has been a popular choice by the brand in more recent years, being put to use previously in two small-seconds time-only pieces, including both the previous Heritage Classic ”Sector,” as well as another vintage-inspired model, the 2020 Heritage Classic “Tuxedo.”
The new steel bracelet copy Longines Heritage Classic “Sector” Black will be available later this summer via authorized boutiques and directly through Longines’ website, with pricing set at $2,350 on a steel bracelet and $2,150 on a leather strap. Longines.
